On Friday, November 19th, Farah Ennis (16-0, 10KOs) returns to Atlantic City at the height of an electrifying knockout streak to battle for his first title, the NABF Super Middleweight Championship.  “The Quiet Storm” will be facing off against Texas-native Victor Lares (15-4, 4KOs) in a 12-round bout.

We caught up with Farah, who is in training with his father and highly-regarded trainer Bozie Ennis:

Battlestrong Boxing:  “How are you feeling about fighting for your first championship ?”
Ennis:  “I feel good.  I saw my brother win three championships, and I’m excited to go out and win one.”

BSB:  “After stopping your last five opponents, do you feel any pressure to deliver another KO for the Atlantic City crowd?”
Ennis:  “No, I don’t feel any pressure, I just want to go in there and win, and look good doing it.”

Also fighting on the November 19th card is the young gun of the Battlestrong team, undefeated “Killa” Keenan Smith.  Smith has had an impressive start to his professional career, notching two solid victories in Philadelphia;  however, he hasn’t seen action since June.  Co-manager Moz Gonzalez says “Keenan has been training hard, but unfortunately had his last three opponents fall through.”

Smith will seek to extend his win streak in his first fight in Atlantic City.
